RADIO partners met at the 5th FHAG Pilot Preparation and the 4th Technical meeting in Valencia, Spain from 4 - 6 October 2017. The meeting was hosted in the premises of partner Robotnik.

Dr. Christos Antonopoulos, from partner organisation Technological Educational Institute of Western Greece, presented the RADIO project at DASIP 2017 held in Dresden during 27-29 of September 2017.
The presentation offered an overview of the multifaceted research activities undertaken within the project. Emphasis was given on the RADIO system end-to-end architecture and the various integration challenges that was were tackled. Then some insight details were presented regarding the main axis of the project as follows.

Partners Sensing & Control Systems and the General Hospital de Granollers participated in the exhibition of the IoT Solutions World Congress which was held 3-5 October in Barcelona, Spain. The event, which attracts key influencers of the IoT world, provided partners with the opportunity to disseminate the RADIO system, meet with possible collaborators and engage in conversation for later exploitation of RADIO results.

RADIO project coordinator Dr. Vangelis Karkaletsis, from partner NCSR Demokritos, delivered a keynote speech during IEEE CBMS 2017 (http://cbms2017.org/) conference on 23 June in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Spanish parrner General Hospital de Granollers had a radio interview and arranged for a demonstration to local radio journalists.
Our robot "Donatello" stole the show whilst demonstrating the possibilities of the RADIO system with the assistance of hospital pesonnel and patients who kindly took part in the demonstration.

On Wednesday 14 December 2016, on behalf of the RADIO consortium, the Technological Educational Institute of Western Greece (TWG) officially opened the doors of its Ambient Assisted Living House (AAL House) for the first time to the public.
